COVID-19. A message from our Managing Director.

I am writing today with an update given the unprecedented situation we are all facing. Our office staff (including our help desk team) are now set up for secure remote working from home should the need arise for them to stay away from the office and all team members have been offered the chance to do so. We are well placed to continue to support you over this difficult time and want to reassure you that our team will be on hand to help when and wherever we are needed.

What will Lexacom do to help you?

In light of the current situation with the increased pressures of social distancing and isolation, we want to do our best to support our customers through the coronavirus pandemic. As such we are offering Lexacom Mobile FREE OF CHARGE for during the ongoing pandemic. This offer is for any of our existing Lexacom 3 customers who sign up to Lexacom Mobile while the social distancing order is in place. Please talk to our sales team for more information.

So how else can Lexacom help?

Lexacom specialises in streamlined workflow and document creation solutions,  we provide solutions to assist and help you avoid bottlenecks in your working practices at busier times. With this in mind, I wanted to let you know of the other services we offer which might be of help at the current time:

  • We have a team of outsourced transcription experts working with Lexacom Scribe who will be on hand and available to assist with dictations. We have put additional resource in place to help users activate their account in a matter of minutes and allow our customers to outsource their transcriptions immediately. Our hope is that with these additional provisions we can help our customers to avoid backlogs, particularly at a time where there may be a shortage of secretarial cover, an influx in dictations or patient referrals.   • We have also recently launched our brand-new support site. Lexacom Support Centre is designed to be a central base for all Lexacom learning and support resources. This site contains the latest user guides, FAQs and top tips to ensure our users are getting the most from their Lexacom software. The Helpdesk team of course will still be here and happy to help, Monday – Friday, 9-5 as usual; we are confident that you will be able to find the answers to any technical questions you have regarding your software quickly and directly using the new online support centre.
