What is the Workflow Admin role?

The Workflow Admin role allows team members to administer workflows the Lexacom system, log into Lexacom to view jobs, and perform administrative actions when logged into Lexacom.

Workflow Admins have the permission to:

• Add workflow Pools
• Add members to workflow Pools
• Add and remove Pools from workflow steps
• Configure Workflows – e.g. editing Priorities, Lookup lists, and Clinical System integration

Users with the Workflow Admin role can log into Lexacom and view jobs on workflows like other users. Workflow Admins must be added to Pools like other users.

When logged into Lexacom, Workflow Admins have the permission to:

• Uncomplete jobs
• Unlock other users’ jobs
• Delete unwanted jobs
• See all jobs in Search, regardless of workflow, except for jobs at the author’s Create step

Workflow Admins cannot add or remove users, activate or deactive services, or edit users’ roles. Users may be a member of both the Workflow Admin and Team Admin roles.
