Best Practice London 2023 is the first time that the Best Practice event has been held in London and the first major primary care event that Lexacom has attended since the COVID pandemic started in 2020.
So, after three years, we are very much looking forward to meeting customers and the broader primary care community face-to-face. 😃
What will Lexacom be doing at Best Practice London 2023?
With a range of new developments and enhancements to our products, with more to come, Lexacom will be showcasing the very latest edition of our market-leading speech-to-text software, Lexacom Echo.
Unlike other medical speech recognition solutions on the market, Lexacom Echo requires no voice training, making it easy to set up and use, out of the box. Plus Echo has the unique ability to automatically add plain text explanations of medical terms as the clinician speaks or types them. Making Echo a perfect tool for helping patients better understand the notes their GPs make about them, now that they can access those notes in the NHS app. Additionally, this reduces the number of calls to the practice from patients looking for clarity, while eliminating the need for the GP to adapt their established note-making approach, in order to help patients understand.
Lexacom Echo, then, is very much a win-win solution for busy practices seeking to make the most of their working day while simultaneously adapting to and supporting this new citizen access programme.

Who from Lexacom will be attending Best Practice London 2023?
While there will be a number of Lexacom staff attending the show over its two days, the main attendees will be our Head of Sales, Simon Brady, and our Managing Director and co-founder of Lexacom, Dr. Andrew Whiteley.
Both have worked in the primary care sector for most, if not all of their working lives, with Dr. Whiteley starting his career as a GP in the 1990s, before creating the digital dictation solution that Lexacom is well known for.
Both Simon and Andrew will be on the stand demonstrating the amazing capabilities of Lexacom Echo, live, and meeting with practice management visitors to the show, about how Lexacom can help them with their workflow needs.
