Unlimited access to our full suite of software – for all practice staff
General practice has changed, and Lexacom pricing has changed to reflect how practices work today.
Pricing is now based on patient list sizes, with unlimited access for all practice staff, allowing GPs, nurses, and managers to use Lexacom across consultations, admin, and meetings – whether in practice, working from home, or on home visits – all without needing separate licences.
Pricing includes access to our latest platform, which combines digital dictation with ambient AI voice technology, workflows, and patient messaging (via the NHS app, text, and email). Staff can choose the features that suit their role and digital confidence, helping save time across the whole practice.
Frequently asked questions
What is list size pricing?
List size pricing means your Lexacom subscription is based on the number of registered patients at your practice, rather than the number of individual users. Pricing includes unlimited users at your site. This allows all staff to use Lexacom without needing to manage or purchase separate licences. Discounts are available for practices paying by Direct Debit, Primary Care Networks and Integrated Care Boards.
Please contact us if you would like to discuss discounted pricing for your organisation.
Why is Lexacom moving to list size pricing?
General practice increasingly works as a team. GPs, nurses, trainees, administrators, care coordinators, and managers all contribute to patient care and administrative workload.
List size pricing is fairer because:
- practices with part-time staff or locums do not need to buy additional licences
- staff can use Lexacom when needed, without sharing logins or managing access
- the whole practice can benefit from time-saving tools, not just a small number of users
This approach reflects how practices actually work today.
What is included in the price?
Your subscription includes access to the latest version of Lexacom at no additional cost, bringing together digital dictation, ambient AI voice technology, workflows and patient messaging. Staff can choose which features they use based on their role and digital confidence.

Do we need to upgrade our software?
No additional charge applies for upgrading. As part of your renewal, you can move to the latest Lexacom platform and benefit from ongoing improvements and new features.
Why does Lexacom price this way?
List size pricing allows us to support modern, flexible use across entire practices while continuing to invest in reliability, security, and compliance. Meeting NHS data protection, clinical safety, and AI assurance standards requires ongoing development, testing, and governance. This work is essential to ensure Lexacom remains safe, trusted, and suitable for use in primary care.

What if we want to discuss our pricing?
If you have questions about list size pricing, discounts, or how Lexacom is used within your practice, our team will be happy to talk it through with you, please get in touch.
What if we do not wish to renew under the new pricing?
Lexacom subscriptions renew annually, and any changes to pricing apply from your renewal date. If you decide that the updated pricing is not right for your practice, you are not obliged to renew. Simply let us know before your renewal date and your subscription will end at the conclusion of the current term.
We recognise that every practice is different, and we encourage you to contact us if you have questions or would like to discuss your renewal. Our team will be happy to talk through the options and help you decide what works best for your practice.
We only have a small number of users, is list size pricing still right for us?
Many practices start with a small number of users, but over time more staff benefit from access to dictation, ambient voice, and administrative tools. List size pricing removes barriers to adoption, allowing practices to extend use to additional clinicians, trainees, and admin staff without extra cost.
We do not use all of the features, can we pay less?
Lexacom is priced as a single platform rather than individual modules. This means practices have access to digital dictation, ambient AI, workflows, and patient messaging as part of the core service, allowing features to be adopted gradually as needs evolve.
Speech recognition is available as an optional add on at an additional cost for practices that require it. Aside from this, Lexacom is not priced on a feature by feature basis, as this helps keep the platform simple to manage and ensures all users benefit from ongoing improvements.
Do locums and temporary staff count as users?
Yes. Under list size pricing, locums and temporary staff can use Lexacom without requiring additional licences. This is one of the key advantages of the new pricing model.
Does unlimited users mean shared logins?
No. Each user should continue to have their own login. Unlimited users means you do not need to purchase or manage individual licences, not that accounts are shared.
Will this change affect our data or existing workflows?
No. All existing data, templates, and workflows remain unchanged. The pricing change does not affect how Lexacom works or how your data is stored.
Will our service stop immediately if we contact you to cancel?
No. Your Lexacom service will continue as normal until the end of your current subscription period.
