Sydney launch marks the official arrival of Lexacom in Australia

Leading UK digital dictation company, Lexacom, celebrated its official launch in Australia, in partnership with Copia, earlier this week.

At a business networking event hosted by UKTI Australia and New Zealand, Lexacom’s Managing Director addressed invited guests, which included some of Sydney’s leading law firms and clinicians. The event was also supported by leading hardware manufacturer, Olympus, which works closely with Lexacom in the UK and Australia.

Dr Andrew Whiteley talked about the importance of the Australia as a growth market for digital dictation, and how Lexacom’s secure cloud-based technology was ideally suited to meet the needs of a country where remote access and mobile working are essential.

Lexacom Australia will be led by Copia, the company’s exclusive local distributor. Copia will be working with lawyers, clinicians and other professionals to provide a full digital dictation and workflow solution to improve efficiency, accuracy and service.

Demand for cost effective, reliable software among delegates at the launch event was strong and Lexacom Australia anticipates making good headway in the coming weeks.

Dr Whiteley said: “I’m grateful to UKTI for facilitating this important launch event for Lexacom Australia. We already have a number of clients trialing our software and look forward to a successful year ahead.”

Lexacom is also expanding its operations in the Middle East and Europe, through effective partnerships with leading organisations in those territories.

About Lexacom  Lexacom digital dictation enables clear, accurate correspondence to be recorded immediately and sent electronically to the secretarial team to be transcribed, avoiding the frustrations and delays associated with tape-based analogue systems. Using the highest security standards to encrypt data, users can also record correspondence, reports and referrals on the move via the Lexacom Mobile app.

Lexacom’s latest software, Lexacom 3, offers a host of new features including reporting functions which enable referrals to be tracked and audited, and integration with other software for improved accuracy and efficiency.

Lexacom is now available in Australia, solely through Copia.
