To use Ambient AI in the web through Lexacom Portal:

You will see the Ambient AI recording controls and output box.
If you are a member of more than one team, you can also select team you are using (this will affect the session templates available to you).
To record, press the record button on screen.
You may start and stop the recording as needed.
You may need to allow Lexacom to use your microphone in your web browser. Click an Allow option to allow Lexacom to use your microphone.
ⓘ The appearance and options that will appear will depend on your web browser and may appear differently to the image above.
If Lexacom does not have permission to use the microphone, you may see a message Error accessing microphone:
If you see this message, check your browser settings and retry.
You can start and stop the capture as much as you like.
Once you have the input you need, you can select the type of output you require.
Select the output you require from the Session Templates dropdown:
The available templates will depend on your team configuration.
Press Generate to create your output
Generated text will appear in the field below.
You can copy the text to clipboard with the Copy to Clipboard button.
You can select any number of different outputs and generate them as required by changing the Session Template and clicking Generate again.
If needed, you can edit the text in this field. Note: changes made in the response field will not be retained if you click Generate again.
Remember to clear the session before you start your next one. If you do not clear the session, new recording will be appended to the previous session.
To clear the session, click the Clear button.
If required, you can view the original, unformatted transcription that has been recorded. Click the Show Original switch to show this.
You can edit this – for example, to correct a spelling or transcription error. These changes are retained when you generate new output.
