This release brings a more powerful Ambient AI experience, a fully upgraded rich text editor, and a wide range of stability and integration improvements. And paves the way for the all new Lexacom App.
New features
Ambient AI is now in its own dedicated window
Ambient AI has moved from a tab into a separate, resizable window. You can now position it anywhere on your screen, keeping it visible alongside other applications while you work — no more switching back and forth.
Refine and re-generate Ambient AI results
Not quite what you needed? You can now refine an Ambient AI result or ask it to re-generate a response directly from the interface, without starting over from scratch.
Upgraded rich text editor
The rich text editor has been rebuilt on TinyMCE — a best-in-class editing engine — giving you a faster, more reliable, and cleaner writing experience. A tidier toolbar and improved formatting make it easier to create polished documents.
Improvements
Inbox label is now consistent across all platforms
The Windows desktop app now uses “Inbox” instead of “Review” — matching the mobile app and making it easier to navigate across devices.
Workflow window only appears when there’s work to do
The workflow window no longer opens automatically on launch unless you actually have jobs waiting in your inbox. Less clutter, less distraction.
Emails open as unsent drafts
When sending from the desktop app, emails now open in your mail client as unsent drafts, giving you the chance to review, edit, and send when you’re ready.
Bug fixes
This release resolves a number of issues reported across several areas of the application.
Ambient AI
- You can no longer accidentally start a new dictation recording while Ambient AI is already recording.
- Fixed a confusing confirmation message shown immediately when opening a team template that uses output capture.
- Prevented Ambient AI from starting a recording session when no microphone input is available.
Clinical system integration
- Fixed EMIS Web failing to connect on the first attempt with an “API Unknown” error.
- Fixed SystmOne connections not being properly closed after completing a request, which could cause performance issues.
- Fixed an issue where not all required patient information was returned by the clinical system.
Transcription and dictation
- Fixed missing words at the end of Echo transcriptions.
- Echo in standalone mode now correctly auto-loads voice commands in UAE and Australia environments.
- Fixed an issue where longer transcriptions weren’t fully displayed in the Patient Shield view.
Rich text and email
- Fixed an error when sending HTML-formatted emails via Outlook.
- Rich text attachments now display correctly in the job summary page of the search grid.
General stability
- Fixed a crash that occurred for users whose Windows region settings use a comma as the decimal separator.
- Fixed a confirmation message not appearing when restoring previously hidden pop-ups.
- Resolved several background errors that could cause unexpected crashes on the desktop app.
- Reduced unnecessary background network requests, improving overall performance.
