How To Locate a Dictation ID – Scribe

A Dictation ID can be used to identify a dictation which has been sent to Lexacom Scribe, as all other references and information are encrypted, only this unique code can be used as an identifier.

The Dictation ID can be located in either the Administrator Tracking grid, or a Talk/Type user’s tracking grid as follows.

Administrator
  • Log in to Lexacom Administrator
  • Go to  > View Tracking
  • Right click on any of the column headings in the window and select Column Chooser
  • Double click on ID to add this column to the tracking grid
  • To close this smaller window click the red dot in the right corner
  • The ID column will now show in the tracking grid, containing Dictation IDs as a long string of letters and numbers
  • The Dictation ID can be selected, highlighted and copied. Press CTRL + C to copy.
Talk or Type User
  • Log in to a Lexacom Talk or Type user account
  • Go to the Tracking grid
  • Right click on any of the column headings in the window and select Column Chooser
  • Double click on ID to add this column to the tracking grid
  • To close this smaller window click the red dot in the right corner
  • The ID column will now show in the tracking grid, containing Dictation IDs as a long string of letters and numbers
  • The Dictation ID can be selected, highlighted and copied. Press CTRL + C to copy.
