Echo – Show Words As You Speak

Echo uses Lexacom’s unique Comprehension Engine to process your dictation, add punctuation and proofread the result. To do this, Echo needs to capture the context of the dictation. As such, the final result will not appear until the user stops the dictation.

Some users prefer to see a preview of the text while they are dictating. This can now be done via the Echo settings.

How to switch on text preview

• From the menu, select Settings.
• On the left, select Echo
• Switch on ‘Show words as you speak’.

The Preview will appear under the Echo window by default but can be positioned left/centre/right and top/middle/bottom as preferred.
