Lordshill Health Centre’s Secretary often finds herself under pressure to ensure all their patient referrals and general correspondence created by their seven GPs is completed quickly and accurately. Having always used an analogue system to record dictations she has found over time there is a greater need to carry out and manage her workload more efficiently.

Practice Manager, Debbie Charman, wanted to find a new solution that would benefit everyone in the team:

“As our Health Centre gets busier with an ever growing patient list and an increased amount of work, we were finding the analogue method clunky. We needed a solution that would be easier for all the GPs and our Secretary to use. As soon as Lordshill started using Lexacom 3, they found it a much easier and safer way to work. Lexacom 3 integrates their EMIS web clinical system, which is a key benefit of using the Lexacom software and the team are now assured that patient data is inputted correctly onto templates.

When Lordshill started using Lexacom 3, they also chose to integrate the Lexacom Mobile app with the software.

“The app allows our Partners to dictate from home.  This is a huge benefit as  they can still send in work to our Secretary and she can maintain her work levels more efficiently”.

“Using the Olympus recording mics and supporting hardware with Lexacom has ensured the clarity of the dictation is far superior to tapes.”  In addition to this, Lexacom 3 also delivers the benefit of helping Debbie monitor the level of work:
